Delaney R. Olmo

Delaney R. Olmo (She/Her) MFA, is an Indigenous-Mixed author of an upcoming poetry collection (TBA). A recipient of the 2022 Poets & Writers Open Door Grant, and a former winner of the Mireyda Barraza Martinez Social Justice Writing Prize. Delaney’s work has appeared in John Hopkins University Press, Decolonial Passage, Green Linden Press, News from Native California, and many others. She is an enrolled member of the Kashia Band of Pomo Indians.

An intuitive connection to memory, ancestry, and the natural world ties influences her work. Drifting between the physical and the spiritual, treating landscape, memory, and ancestral voice as intertwined.
